Patrick Rindlisbacher and Martin Recknagel now jointly manage Medifilm
The specialist in drug blister packaging within the Galenica network has a new management model. Patrick Rindlisbacher, the current head of Medifilm, has been co-managing Medifilm with Martin Recknagel since 1 November 2024.
This top-sharing approach allows the two co-managers to make the best possible use of their respective expertise and thus prepare Medifilm for the next phase of growth.
Patrick Rindlisbacher has been working in the Galenica network since 2013, initially in various specialist roles at the wholesale and logistics company Galexis. He took over as head of Medifilm in January 2022. In future, together with the respective teams, he will focus on market and quality issues and help to develop the home care business, which is strategically important for the Galenica network. Patrick Rindlisbacher holds a degree in Business Administration from the Bern University of Applied Sciences and a degree in Brand & Marketing Management from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
In future, Martin Recknagel will contribute his digital expertise to the management of Medifilm. Together with the respective teams, the current head of IT at the company will focus on digital products and operations. Martin Recknagel joined Medifilm in 2012, initially as Project Manager IT. He holds a degree in Biology from the University of Fribourg im Breisgau and an Executive MBA from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
The top-sharing model allows the two managers, who are also young fathers, not only to contribute their professional strengths, but also to achieve an even better balance between family and work.
Patients, pharmacies, care homes and other public institutions throughout Switzerland place their trust in Medifilm’s advanced and safe drug blister packaging.
The new management model enables better integration of IT, production and business. It is also forward-thinking in its organisational approach and serves as the foundation for initiating a new phase.
