Michael Severus assumes leadership of Padma Ltd.

Michael Severus will become CEO of Padma Ltd. from January 2025. Padma Ltd. is a manufacturer of Tibetan herbal remedies.

Based in Wetzikon, Switzlerland, Padma Ltd. has been a division of Verfora Ltd. since February 2023. Padma Ltd. has been a manufacturer of herbal remedies derived from Tibetan medicine since 1969. It has its own production facility in Wetzikon in the canton of Zurich, where the company’s headquarters are also located.

From 1 January 2025, Michael Severus will succeed Alexandra and Herbert Schwabl as CEO of Padma Ltd. Pascal Smolny will serve as Michael Severus’ deputy.

Michael Severus is a qualified pharmacist and has been working for Verfora for over 10 years. Among other things, he has managed Perskindol, supported and further expanded Verfora’s partner business, and successfully integrated products from Allergosan, Adler Pharma and Boiron. Michael Severus has been at the helm of Spagyros Ltd. since June 2023.

Pascal Smolny has been working as Head of Sales at Spagyros for four years and, in this role, has served as part of the Spagyros management team. Prior to that, he held positions in sales and marketing at various pharmaceutical companies.

The joint management of Spagyros Ltd. and Padma Ltd. by Michael Severus strengthens the complementary medicine division within the Verfora Group.
